Rocket chugged before flight and then flew completely apart about 100' off of the ground, completely destroying the rocket. Only a small portion of the propellant grain was recovered, the rest of motor flew apart.

The single use rocket engine was 20 years old, but stored in a sealed ammunition box during that time.
