This was the 2nd problem with this same motor lot code on the same day. Motor thrust and delay smoke performed normally. Ejection charged fired 2-3 seconds late, after rocket reached apogee. Ejection charge fired when rocket was at tree top level, resulting in incomplete opening of parachute and rocket impacting trees. TARC rocket was totally destroyed.
