After liftoff, about 300ft up, there was a pop and pieces were seen ejected out the back of the rocket. Rocket coasted up a couple more hundred feet, then rotated and lawn darted to complete destruction. Cause seems to be that the nozzle burned through on one edge, compromising the seal. The engine must have then over-pressurized. The nozzle ejected out the back (breaking the Aero Pack retainer cap) and one grain was also expelled. The wreckage had the casing (intact) with one grain (partially burned), the liner (damaged from the remaining grain ejecting, then impacting it) and the ejection end, also with only partially burned delay. The ejection did not go off, so no chute. The nozzle (pictured) was found in the field.
