I took 9.5 seconds off the delay using the CTI delay tool for 54mm motors. Instead of a 9-10 second delay, the motor ejection went off right at motor burnout. No damage to the rocket, but definitely way early.
Note- according to the data on cTI's website, 9-10 second delay is ok, so it's not like I over drilled it.
