Comments
Flying a BMS clone of the Mini-Bomarc, rocket was just off the rod at a height of maybe 50' plus or minus when nose ejected and flames were seen issuing from the front of the body tube. My first thought was that I had loaded an A10-0T by mistake, but confirmed it was an A10-3T upon examination of spent casing. Ejection charge was such that a 100# Kevlar® cord burnt to the point of failure (estimated 75% burn through). Parachute had melting/burned through patch.
