Ignition looked normal using supplied igniter. Fwd closure separated from case about 40' above ground embedded in stuffer tube inside airframe. Aft closure and nozzle still with case ejected from rocket. Propellant grain stopped burning part way through burn, recovered outside case. Delay element, liner and 5/8" o-ring no longer in fwd closure. Red ejection cap in place on fwd closere but had no powder left in it. Checked motor package, no excess parts. Was first load from sealed 3-motor pack. Photo shows moment of failure in rocket. Case appears undamaged. Can send pics of that if needed.
