Comments
The motor was bonded 5 hours before launch in 90F with Elmer's All Max Glue. We were not worried about the cure time on the glue since a temperature increase of 10 degree Celsius corresponds to a double cure speed. The liner was also set in the sun after bonding to speed the cure up even more. There were no visual imperfections upon assembly and the motor fit together just fine. The motor burned nominally up until T+0.5s and then the forward closure was blown due to over pressurization. Five of the six grains were recovered and the five grains recovered had burn marks on them. The motor was assembled to manufacturers standards.
