Launched two Estes E12-6 engines (separate launches). Ejection charge failed on both. I have both engines plus the one remaining non-fired engine. Attached photo shows all three (they are from the same package, with same date stamp). Clay retainer on one failed engine is intact. Clay retainer on the other failed engine WAS intact, but was punctured when I pushed that engine out of the damaged rocket using a dowel. I reported the malfunctions, plus pictures of engines/damaged rockets, to Estes Industries.
