Ejection charge fired ~1.5 seconds after ignition while the motor was still burning and the model was travelling upwards of 300mph. A video capture of the flight shows that the ejection was powerful enough to shoot the top half of the rocket the full length of the shock cord upwards while the motor was still burning in the lower half. Disassembly of the motor showed no missing or misarranged components (all o-rings intact, delay spacer facing towards motor grains instead of delay o-ring), and no case damage occurred.
