Rocket left pad, went up maybe 100' and turned sideways and did a long arcing burn, hitting the ground about 300 yards away while under power. Did serious damage to the rocket (scratchbuilt). Its probably a total loss.
I have 3 more motors from this date code and I am uneasy using them. I have seen this phenomenon frequently with F44, F67, and G74 motors. I am about ready to stop using those model of motors as I can't trust them anymore.
