description
Uneven nozzle wear, one third of the nozzle looks normal, the rest is eroded badly. Rocket flew crazily, ejection charge blew but parachute did not deploy correctly due to the rocket flying sideways. Once again the rocket was damaged (creased body tube).
Comments
Rocket left launch rail, flew upwards for perhaps half a second, started pinwheeling, crashed. Went no more than 100 feet in the air at most. I am VERY discouraged by the high failure rate of Quest Q-jets, and plan to dispose of my remaining stock, rather than continue to fly the 40+ motors I have left over.
