About 1/2 second after igniting the engine popped the nosecone off the rocket with what appeared to be a fireball, and also somehow the motor ejected itself off the motor hook (which bent the casing of the motor. The rocket (airframe wise) survived, but the chute and shock cord got a little cooked.
