Comments
This event occurred at NOVAAR's night Launch. The rocket left the 6 ft rail and immediately CATO'd. The rocket's airframe was severed just above the engine mount and burned badly. The ejected charge deployed the parachute and the pieces all landed near the pad. Flames persisted from the parts on the ground for a few moments and were extinguished by the LCO. Other E30-4s from the same general batch were used successfully that day. Between the flames and the almost 100 blinking LEDs on the rocket, the rocket was not hard to spot :-)
