description
Even though I did not specifically see fire (Burning propellant.) come out of the front end of the rocket, the rocket was only just lifting off when the entire recovery system and nosecone blew up like a mortar from the rocket body tube. It stripped away the shockcord and landed about 15 yards away. The motor was still in the motor mount and was completly empty as if it had been flown.
