The engine was perfect until 3080 feet in elevation, then the rocket took a hard 90-degree turn and flew another 2000 feet horizontal. When I located the rocket, the case had been burned through at the aft section, and the stainless enclosure ring, and the boat tail retainer was melted and fused.
