1 second after ignition the motor ejected burning material trough three baffles and into the upper end of the rocket. Large hole in the upper end of the rocket midway up 18" body tube. Nose cone was attached with epoxy and rocket was designed to separate at the coupler section. Nose cone was blown off rocket and it landed a second later and the motor continued burning on the ground.
