The motor had failed to ignite once due to the igniter not being properly secured. The pressure of the motor gasses forced the igniter out before the motor had fully ignited and it failed to fire. The second launch had the motor burn properly for a fraction of a second before failing and the pressure of the failure popped the drogue parachute. It then proceeded to burn for about 9 seconds out the top of the lower airframe, severing the lower shock cord in the process. The upper airframe, avionics bay, and both parachutes were unharmed. The lower airframe has been rendered useless. The motor failure was captured on video and can be found here: https://youtu.be/-3KRwalNBIw
