CATO - Payload bay pushed out immediately at liftoff by large flame coming out of booster. No damage to Aerotech 38/240 case. Excessive residue on forward closure. Small burn holes in delay insulator. Delay o-ring shrunken, hard and eroded a 1/4 diameter above location of burn holes in insulator. Photos available upon request. Motor assembled several hours prior to launch according to Aerotech instructions.
