While still under thrust, at approximately .75 sec (as determined by Jolly Logic Altimeter 3), Rocket exploded sending pieces everywhere. One large, split open part of the 38MM 600 Newton case was recovered. (Lower half) Top portion of engine case remained in the rocket. Top enclosure was "intact" with ejection charge still in place (not fired). Bottom centering ring with piece of motor still screwed into closure was found on the the field. This was a very violent and loud event.
