Comments
[This is an update to a previously submitted MESS form.] Newly purchased J760, new Pro54-3G case and new aft closure. Inspection before loading revealed no damage to reload components. AeroPack 75mm>54mm adapter system was used with upper support ring snugged just to the point of immobilization. Launched nominally; approximately .25-.5 seconds into flight, motor mount was seen glowing with a forceful separation (assumed caused by forward casing flying up the rocket) seen immediately after while motor was still burning. Upper casing fell to ground separately, aft closure along with 1 to 2cm of casing remained in the retention system. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1ovpZAoyRyQyy6AeYXSDJ-L-odMw9UUv3
