The motor CATO'd immediately. The burning propellant pushed the rocket off the pad and ejection charge pushed the nosecone off the rocket. It blackened the inside of the rocket and partially melted the bottom of the nosecone and burned up the parachute and shock cord. I am the Senior Advisor for the Alamo Rocketeers#661 and I am submitting this report on behalf of one of our members. I will be contacting Estes to report this failure.
