Motor casing had only one other prior use. That was a J570W. It was assembled per the instructions and went together like the dozens I've done before. Igniter that came with the motor is what was used and was installed all the way up into the motor core. It CATO'd almost right after ignition and made it about 40' up. It appears it blew the aft closure, ejecting all the grains. No Black powder was installed for the ejection charge because the rocket had electronic ejection. The red cap was still installed on the forward closure.
