description
As far as I know, no part of the engine was recovered. I recovered most of the rockets other parts but not the motor or the tube containing it. I am also missing one of the fins. It was the last of a similar batch.
Comments
The rocket ignited and got up maybe 20' or 30' before it exploded. The wind was blowing from east to west. A ball of burning propellant kept going up and eastward, while rocket particles fell west of the pad. I estimate I have 90% of the rocket.
